Our steel frames are perfect if you're looking for a bike that has to be ready for anything. High strength, excellent vibration damping and
a relaxed geometry make this the ultimate bike for long bikepacking trips.

- Balanced geometry for stability and comfort on demanding long rides
- The frame is made of Italian Columbus Zona steel tubing, which provides a great compromise between weight and strength. These steel tubes dampen vibrations much better than aluminium constructions. The dropouts, head tubes and bottom bracket shells are made in the USA by Paragon Machine Works
- Our steel gravel frames are hand welded in Poland They have survived many races and bikepacking expeditions. The whole project, design and painting of the frames are also local processes.

This bike has been created for an individual order. If you like this direction, we would be happy to create a similar design for you. For this reason, complicated painting is not included in the price - we will quote it for you individually.
Price includes raw frame, matte black carbon fork, Tange integrated headset, seatpost clamp and thru axles. It also includes painting in
a base RAL color with lettering on the down tube and standard Loca Bikes signatures and logos.
Graphic designs and painting according to the customer's idea are possible. In this case, we will make you an individual quote.

The set includes Garbaruk 10-50t 11s cassette, derailleur cage, pulley wheels and SRAM XD driver
Shimano GRX RD-RX812 is designed to work with cassettes with
a maximum range of 11-42t. In practice it can easily handle up to
11-46t, but for the toughest mountain rides this may still not be enough.
A special Garbaruk derailleur allows the derailleur to work properly with cassette sizes up to 10-50t. . The derailleur weighs only 45 g and is CNC machined from a single piece of 7075 aluminium. In combination with oversize pulley wheels it will give you, apart from the extra range, a lower weight and an even more precise shifting.
The heart of the kit is one of the lightest cassettes on the market, with
a range of as much as 10-50t (500%). At this size it weighs just
300 g (234 g less than the Sunrace cassette we fit as standard). The whole thing is CNC cut from a single block of steel, which allows us to achieve a very good ratio of weight to strength. Only the largest sprocket is made of aluminium (7075). The usage of a cassette with the smallest sprocket 10t instead of 11t is possible by changing the hub driver to the SRAM XD type.
Knog Plus lights are a well-designed and very practical solution. They are very light (12 g each), waterproof, bright, and you can easily attach them anywhere - on the bike, to socks, or a backpack.
The lights have a wide viewing angle and are charged via USB. We love how they clip into their magnetic mounts so they can be removed and reinstalled in a second.

Geometry
The geometry of our steel bikes is much more relaxed than the aluminium model.
A significantly higher head tube, and space for 700x45c tyres make the steel Loca the most comfortable bike we have created. It will be perfect for bikepacking expeditions or ultramarathons. At the same time, we've kept the balance - the rear triangle is still relatively short, and the bike feels great during sprints.
