When designing our steel gravel bike, we tried to imagine a bicycle that we ourselves would want to ride in ultra-distance races up in the mountains, trips to other countries or conquer complex forest trails.

Our steel gravel will do well in ultramarathons, on bikepacking trips or just longer, off-road routes. Where your comfort and the durability of your bike are of paramount importance.

Each bike is painted and assembled to individual specifications. This means that you are the one who decides on your machine. You can participate in the building process with us and design the bike of your dreams!

At the heart of our steel gravels are robust frames made of luxurious materials
- Italian Columbus Zona tubes and USA-made Paragon Machine Works dropouts, head tubes and bottom bracket shells combine great design with reliability and high precision of manufacturing.

We chose these materials for their great ratio of weight, strength and stiffness. The large diameter seat tube and chainstays ensure that the frame will not yield under the strongest leg and will transmit the full power of the rider perfectly. A full carbon fork completes the look. Both the frame and fork are designed for the flat mount standard. Frames are welded in Poland.

The oversize head tube and the tapered fork guarantee reliable handling and high stability, while the steel frame provides excellent shock absorption and durability. Thanks to this, our steel gravel bike can handle any conditions.

Stability and stiffness are also positively influenced by the thru axles from Paragon Machine Works.

In terms of geometry, the Loca Bikes steel gravel bike is the most comfortable bicycle we have ever created. It features a space for really wide tires, a fairly high head tube and many other parameters that make it the best choice if you are planning a longer journey on your bike.

We wanted the steel Loca to be as versatile as possible and to handle any situation. That is why in this model we have provided the option of fitting full mudguards, a rear rack, two bottle cages in the main frame triangle, one under the down tube, two on the fork and a direct mount stem bag.

After the frame, one of the most important components of a bike is the drivetrain. Whether you're a fan of one or two chainrings at the front, we have something for you. On our gravel bikes you can opt for a Shimano GRX GRX RX820 2x12, 1x12 or RX400 2x10 drivetrain. The GRX groups allow access to light enough gear ratios that mountain climbs will no longer be a problem!

Need an absolutely no-compromise drivetrain? We also have the Shimano GRX Di2 and SRAM AXS electronic groups available. They ensure perfect derailleur performance in all conditions and on top of that SRAM AXS is wireless!

On gravel bikes, tyres play a key role in suspension. On our steel gravel bikes we have provided clearance for tyres as large as 700x45c. This width will allow you to comfortably ride every gravel race and will easily cope with sandy and rocky roads. You can easily take the Loca Bikes steel gravel on light singletracks without fear. You may also go tubeless instead of inner tubes. All our wheels are compatible with it.

For each gravel bike from Loca, you have a 5-year warranty on the frames and
a 2-year warranty on all other parts.
