This paint scheme was the debut design for our Road Plus model. The bold typography, which perfectly captures the spirit of the series, was designed by Tadek Ciechanowski
- a Wrocław-based photographer and graphic designer, with whom we have worked almost since the very beginning of LOCA BIKES. We wanted something daring and different – a playful combination of graphic forms and modern paint technologies. The result? Better than we imagined.
We used an advanced coating based on interference pigments that dynamically shift to light and the viewing angle. The overall effect is enhanced by smoky transitions and abstract patterns. It is a design with a soul – unpredictable, unconventional, and wrapped in a subtle sense of mystery.

The twin brother of the Ruby Prism project, at first glance this design may seem quite similar, but take a closer look and you'll notice unique details emerging from the smoky paint. The typography, perfectly capturing the concept of this series, was designed by Tadek Ciechanowski – a photographer and graphic designer from Wrocław, with whom we have collaborated almost since the very beginning of LOCA BIKES.
As with Ruby Prism, the centerpiece here is a prismatic chameleon-type paint – multi-layered pigments containing metal oxides that completely change their colour depending on the viewing angle and the light hitting the surface.

This futuristic project definitely catches the eye. The combination of a bright yellow-green shade with classic navy blue makes the design both clean and minimalist.
We carried out the painting using the classic wet-on-wet method, which allows colors to blend freely. This enables effects such as in the main logo – the base colors of the frame flow smoothly into each other, creating a dynamic visual effect.

The geometry of our Road Plus bikes allows for tyres up to 35 mm wide. Generous tyre clearance combined with an endurance-style stack/reach ratio gives you a comfortable riding position – perfect for leaving the beaten path.
It handles gravel trails and rough asphalt with ease. At the same time, the short rear triangle, compact wheelbase, and sharp angles deliver pure road bike performance. You'll catch up with the group on the flats and descend mountain switchbacks with your eyes closed!

Road Plus was an idea we loved from the start. If your rides include asphalt with a touch of gravel or cobbles, the Road Plus is your best companion. At its heart is: a high-grade carbon frame made from Japanese Toray fibres and a full carbon fork.
This setup offers not only low weight but also exceptional durability. Each frame is tested under rigorous fatigue tests to ensure long-term performance on demanding terrain.

Road Plus Alto CF lets you fly through any paved route, while the tall head tube and added tyre clearance make venturing onto gravel easy and comfortable.
Light, stiff and durable – that's the carbon we use. It provides outstanding vibration damping, sharp handling and long-distance comfort, even on rougher routes.
The SRAM Force AXS 2x12 wireless drivetrain keeps your cockpit clean and delivers flawless shifting. Its wide range and optimised gearing give you an edge on both climbs and fast descents.
Ultra-lightweight build means climbs feel easier, and carrying the bike is a breeze.
Up to 700x35c tyres allow you to stay versatile – with grip and confidence even when the road turns to gravel.

Thanks to FSA ACR technology and wireless drivetrains, all cables are fully hidden inside the cockpit and frame. The result? A clean, minimalist look, easy cleaning, and full compatibility with handlebar-mounted bags. No cable damage. No complex setups. No spacers.

The LOCA Road Plus lets you fly on asphalt, while the tall head tube and tyre clearance give you freedom to explore beyond it.

Every component is carefully chosen to match the intended use.
We make sure your road bike performs exactly where it should.
We trust wireless SRAM AXS systems for our road builds. Why? Set it once and forget it. Flawless shifting no matter the conditions, massive gear range, long battery life, low weight, great stiffness and a clean look. What more could you ask for?

From ultra-durable Mavic, to boutique Dandy Horse and the legendary ZIPP 303 – in alloy or carbon, we use what we trust. And tyres? We go with the iconic Continental Grand Prix 5000 by default – light, grippy and tough. Prefer Pirelli or Gravelking? We've got you covered.
